Who doesn’t appreciate a day on the course? We sure do.
We recently sponsored two golf tournaments and set up camp on the green (literally). Camp CPL came complete with trail-friendly treats, mimosas, goodie bags, a pseudo campfire, and of course, a life-sized Smokey the Bear. Kate and Mariah manned camp, cheered on golfers (and kept them well fed and fueled), and fully embraced the Camp CPL theme by sporting flannel and ranger hats.
We love events like these. One, because we love golf and spending the day outside, but more importantly, we recognize the important causes the tournaments support. The first benefited A4LE (Association for Learning Environments), an organization whose sole mission is improving the places where children learn. Coughlin Porter Lundeen Associate Principal, Cory Hitzemann will assume the President-Elect position in 2018. The second tournament was held by DBIA NW (Design-Build Institute of America North West), an organization that promotes the value of design-build project delivery and teaches the effective integration of design and construction serves to ensure success for owners and design and construction practitioners.
Overall, spirits were high, smiles wide, and we had a fantastic time with our industry friends. We’re looking forward to next year’s tournaments, and have already started brainstorming our 2018 theme.
