Committed to understanding the details and unique technological requirements of the space, then responded with custom solutions for various program areas.
Equipped the space with two wings, one with lab and office spaces and the other with an impressive showcase bar and high-bay area. Intended for structural experiments, the high-bay area features a reaction floor and wall as well as a bridge crane.


Facilitated learning via future alternative pavement areas, the five-by-five squares allow students to easily remove and replace units, thereby experimenting with different pavement types. Additionally, the porous pavement and rain wall serve as regular “field trip” locations, allowing students to see environmental technology in action.
Focused on sustainability and collaborated with university professors and end-users to create drainage concepts, design a rain garden and develop strategies for stormwater treatment.
Adapted to challenges posed by the site by coordinating site demolition, mass earthwork, grading, and the construction of a new utility tunnel to the Grimes Way network.
