Created a value engineering solution to rebuild the auditorium wing from the ground floor level with a light-framed custom steel-and-timber structure, saving about $1 million and eliminating all bracing that was obstructing views.



3-D structural modeling enabled team members to streamline coordination of complex systems related to the interface of structural, mechanical, and electrical elements within the 11- to 12-foot floor-to-floor heights, and limit change orders.
Collaborated with specialty curtain wall and timber fabricators to create dramatic main entry vestibules and unique lyceum structure.

Reworked the area surrounding the HUB to improve pedestrian and ADA access. An elegant, floating ADA walkway was constructed over the rain garden at the south entry. Loading yard modifications allow trucks to maneuver entirely within the loading area, significantly improving public safety by eliminating the need to back through pedestrian pathways.
