Partnered with Weber Thompson to transform Pike Motorworks, the former home to BMW on historic auto row, into a luxurious residential complex featuring 259 residential and live/work units, 193 stalls of underground parking, 90 bike parking stalls, and a unique, ground-level retail space, all within two 7-story buildings.
Reimagined the 1926 BMW Showroom, transforming it into the striking south entrance of the complex. Temporarily supported during construction, the curved brick façade was strengthened and updated to be seismically sound.
A new slanted skylight sits behind the façade and invites natural light into the main entry space, now home to Redhook’s brewery.

Supported the project vision for a unique ground-level plaza space. By creating a courtyard that was accessible from all four sides of the block, the design encouraged pedestrian walk-throughs and retail visits. Catenary lighting, with carefully coordinated cable anchor points, completes the look.

Created a unique internal catwalk, a structural feature which connects the complex’s two buildings and allows residents to easily access the lower courtyard. Spanning amenity spaces and the brewery, the catwalk aligns with the overall aesthetic with a board form bottom and steel channel face.
Complemented the architectural vision, ensuring design details aligned with the dark finishes, reclaimed wood, and refined-industrial vibe. The space appeals to renters with spacious floor plans, vaulted ceilings and large windows.
