Pasco Fire Station 83 Half Interior

The one-story station features a barrel roof design supported by a curved, open-web truss system. The facility includes offices, conference rooms, four steel-framed drive-through apparatus bays, and dedicated decontamination and storage areas.

Within the decontamination room, airlock chambers and hose areas allow firefighters to safely transition from the truck bay to the wood-framed living quarters, which include a kitchen, dining area, sleeping quarters, and exercise spaces.

To further support firefighter health and performance, the station incorporates a modern alerting system that gradually brightens lighting and increases alarm volume, replacing traditional harsh lights and loud sounds with a subtle approach.
