Partnered with the large design team, the City of Bothell and an invested owner, participating in planning sessions, committing to a shared vision, and continuing involvement through project completion.
Created pedestrian-friendly, mixed-use gathering spaces, offices, council chambers, a three-level, underground parking garage, and a community plaza.
Invited the community to interact with the building via the shared-use plaza space above the garage. Next to the community wing and council chambers, the plaza features planters, landscaping and communal seating, and helped the building achieve LEED Gold.
Ensured the city was prepared for the future by topping the building with a structural layout system which is specially designed to support future loads and growth.
