For over 16 years, our firm has been providing structural design services for numerous facilities on the Seattle Center campus. Our deep understanding of the unique characteristics of the Seattle Center makes us an unusually well-informed structural company when it comes to building renovations on this campus. Some of our projects include: seismic upgrades for Pavilion Building A and the Center House; the Fun Forest, a pavilion of clear span steel that allows for continuous operation; the Armory Building, which involved enlarging openings and adding decks to update the venue; Center House Trash Enclosures; and the Pacific Science Center, which gained a glass elevator addition. Our most recent work on campus involves the new headquarters for KEXP radio station, a stunning glass facility designed to foster a sense of connection between local music and the community. Based on conclusions from a study we conducted of the existing Northwest Rooms, our team will assist in major renovation of the aged building in pursuit of a more open, visually appealing structure.
