500 Fairview will be the new home of BioMed Realty, who plans to use the space to expand its existing research center with a new life sciences research building. Seven floors of office, lab, and retail space will accompany three floors containing 136 stalls of below-grade parking. Wide experience with other projects in the South Lake Union neighborhood provides our engineers with unparalleled situational knowledge, resulting in more efficient and creative solutions to project coordination challenges such as permitting and negotiations with stakeholders. In addition to expediting planning review and supporting our client’s strict schedule, we are also utilizing our experience designing structures with complex floor programming to create the optimum column layout design across parking and lab spaces, maximizing usable space.
