Having grown up in the earthquake-prone country of Indonesia, Sam was inspired at an early age to learn about the resilience of structures. He finds the behavior of buildings under extreme seismic loads fascinating – finding solace in knowing that his designs help keep people safe. Nonprofit-minded with a love for travel, Sam does what he can to protect the world around him.
