Continuing the development of Amazon.com’s Master Plan, Phase VII added 210,000 square feet of Class A office space to the organization’s campus.

  • Complemented Amazon.com’s vision for South Lake Union, creating a lively neighborhood campus rather than a traditional wall of office buildings.
  • Created an inviting, pedestrian-friendly plaza, featuring restaurants, retail, and space to relax, thus uniting the building to the neighborhood.
  • Unified the neighborhood’s streetscape’s design and simplified utility planning for Phases VII and VIII, which both involved undergrounding utilities and master planning for future developments’ routing and connection points.
  • Saved valuable time and cost, and simplified construction planning by daisy-chaining de-watering systems across four sites. The solution reconfigured the systems and centralized them at one treatment center.
  • Leveraged the team’s significant experience in South Lake Union to provide efficient permitting services as well as anticipate potential design and construction challenges.
