Employees are offered dental insurance, vision insurance, and a choice of two comprehensive healthcare plans. Coughlin Porter Lundeen pays nearly all of the employee’s premiums and a percentage of the premiums for dependent coverage. We also offer an opportunity to participate in a flexible spending or health savings account depending on the selected healthcare plan.
All regular employees qualify for sick leave and paid vacation. Standard sick leave accumulation is based on employee status, and vacation accumulation is based on employee status and tenure.
Our greatest resource is our people, and employee professional development is one of our top priorities. We have both formal and informal mentoring programs, a wide array of continuing education opportunities, and countless opportunities for motivated employees to broaden their skills. We pay for the appropriate license or registrations for one state for each qualified employee. We will also pay the membership dues for professional organizations as mutually agreed upon. We also offer educational assistance to regular employees as mutually agreed upon.

We offer a 401(k) plan which employees are eligible to participate in the first day of the quarter following completion of 1,000 hours of service during a consecutive 12-month period. The company is very committed to this benefit and endeavors to provide an employee match and profit share contribution, the amounts of which are discretionary.
To encourage the use of public transportation, Coughlin Porter Lundeen provides transportation subsidies. Eligible employees receive a company paid annual ORCA pass to be used for Metro, Sound Transit, and Community Transit.
