DESCRIPTION

The Human Resources Generalist (HRG) is responsible for providing the full spectrum of HR expertise and services including, but not limited to: talent management, employee relations, performance management, management coaching and guidance, HR legal and compliance, compensation, benefits, HRIS support, and training and development.  Duties will be performed independently and/or in partnership with management and other co-workers on the administration team.

RESONSIBILITIES

  • Talent management – support the Company’s staffing, recruiting process, and onboarding
  • Process and maintain the performance management and appraisal system
  • Nurture a positive working environment
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
  • Supports the compensation and benefits program
  • Maintain and audit HRIS system; ADP Workforce Now
  • Develops and supports the creation of leadership and staff development programs
  • Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or another relevant field required. Master’s degree desirable.
  • Three plus (3+) years of directly related experience in generalist human resources functions to fulfill the duties as outlined.
  • Active HR certification (PHR, SPHR, etc.) preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of policies, processes, and general HR administration.
  • Intermediate level proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Previous experience with HRIS; ADP Workforce Now preferred.
  • Ability to anticipate, identify, quantify, and resolve problems in a timely and positive manner, viewing obstacles as opportunities to learn and grow.
  • Requires effective interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to interact positively and productively (through written and verbal communications) across the organization.
  • Must have initiative, be resourceful, and able to work independently.
  • Must be able to effectively prioritize, manage time and projects, and multi-task in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
  • Requires fluency in English with good verbal and written skills.
  • Must be able to effectively collaborate with all levels of management, staff, and clients in diverse environments.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position; compensation will be determined by the candidate’s qualifications. Position benefits include medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance.
